Mother & Sister (Uhm Mah Yah Noo Na Yah)

Go Doo Shim is the mother of three girls but her in-laws want a son. So they 'borrow' Jang Mi Hee's body and she gives birth to a son (Go Soo) for the Jang family. But she also gives birth to a girl (Kim So Yun). But the family doesn't want the girl so the girl, Seung Li, is left alone with her mom. The son, Kyung Bin, grows up with the Jang family under special treatment because he is their only son. His oldest sister, Yuh Kyung (Hwang Su Jung), is mute because she got into an accident when she was little, while trying to get rid of Kyung Bin, because all the adults favored him. His other two sisters are Kim Ji Young and Jun Soo Yun. Seung Li works at a factory with her bestfriend Chan Mi (Bae Doo Na). Seung Li had a hard time controlling her mom's actions and it's as if the mother and daughter switched roles. Chan Mi's older brother is Soo Chul (Ahn Jae Wook), who is jobless and is a nahl la lee. His on-again, off-again girlfriend is Heng Jah (Park Sun Young), who is crazy about him. But Soo Chul's attitude about life changes after he meets Yuh Kyung, with whom he falls in love with. After Seung Li's mother deserts her with her boyfriend, she finds her way to the Jang family and the secrets of the past are revealed to Seung Li and Kyung Bin.

comments: Great cast! After all those dramas with mostly new young (bad) actors, it's nice to see a few old faces like Ahn Jae Wook, Hwang Su Jung, and even Kim So Yun. I think this drama definitely has potential to grow and has a great storyline at hand. The only person i can't stand is Jang Mi Hee, who plays Kim So Yun and Go Soo's mom. I hate her voice! Since this is a weekend drama, it'll probably be on for a while. I usually prefer miniseries just because they go at a faster pace and don't drag the storyline for months and months. I would definitely recommend it because overall, it's well put together. Ahn jae Wook and Kim So Yun are definitely the shining stars of this drama.
